Rakdos Aggro combines efficient interaction in the form of removal, hand attack, and nonbasic land hate with modern threats to quickly close out games. Good quality threats along with a breadth of interaction gives Rakdos a fighting chance in most matchups and makes it a reasonable choice into unknown metagames. It is also relatively easy for new players to pick up.

While many lists have a high percentage of shared cards, there doesn't seem to be consensus on which fast mana points to play, with many variations of 2 moxen, Sol Ring, and Mana Crypt seeing play.
