Rakdos Aggro
Also known as: Gothic Moon
Rakdos Aggro combines efficient interaction in the form of removal, hand attack, and nonbasic land hate with modern threats to quickly close out games. Good quality threats along with a breadth of interaction gives Rakdos a fighting chance in most matchups and makes it a reasonable choice into unknown metagames. It is also relatively easy for new players to pick up.
On average, over 60% of the spells in Rakdos were printed in the last 5 years, indicating that the deck has many options to choose from among the deluge of new set releases to improve its average card quality.
While many lists have a high percentage of shared cards, there doesn't seem to be consensus on which fast mana points to play, with many variations of 2 moxen, Sol Ring, and Mana Crypt seeing play.
